TRACKING YOUR APPLICATION ON THE WEB

As permit of stay application is mailed at a post office via registered letter, users are given a return receipt ("RICEVUTA").

This "RICEVUTA" has the same value the former "temporary" permit of stay had.

In addition, "RICEVUTA" contains data which can be used to track the status of your application on the web.

Use a browser to get to www.portaleimmigrazione.it

click on the lower right corner box "Area Riservata Stranieri"

"Nome Utente" is the "USER ID" number shown on the top right of "RICEVUTA"

"Password" is on the top left corner of "RICEVUTA".

(NOTE THAT PASSWORD DOES NOT CONTAIN DASHES "-".
